The cityXpress cable car is located just a short walk from the hotel; or take the free ski bus which stops directly in front of the hotel and make your trip to the slopes a leisurely one. Once you’ve arrived at the pistes of your choice you can devote yourself to skiing and snowboarding.

Spend your winter holidays in Zell am See and experience the variety of slopes at the Zell am See ski area. Everyone, from beginners to winter sports fans and families, will get their money’s worth. With a total of 77 km of slopes, the Schmitten ski resort guarantees skiing and snowboarding fun for everyone. From the valley station you can reach the Hirschkogel middle station with the cityXpress cable car; from there you can take the Areitbahn II cable car to the mountain station at 1,965 m altitude. This is a great way to discover the entire Schmittenhöhe ski resort.

Attention night owls: every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the Nightslope is open on the Schmitten – on these days you can have tons of fun on the slopes until 9:30 p.m.!

If the 77 km of slopes aren’t enough, even more pistes await you on the Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun, making your ski holidays truly multi-faceted. The more than 3,000 m-high glacier offers freeriders and freestylers ungroomed slopes, deep snow and fun parks. You’ll also be impressed by the 1,675 m-high Maiskogel “family mountain”: with a total of 20 km of slopes, the third mountain in the Zell am See-Kaprun ski area makes every child’s heart skip a beat, with special runs that kids and parents can enjoy together. You can also reach the Kitzsteinhorn and the Maiskogel with the ski bus (free for guests with a valid ski pass).
