A Home Away from Home – Exceptional Hospitality

Our one-week ski holiday turned into three after my wife had an accident, but Hotel Stadt Wien made a difficult time so much easier. Owners Klaus and Christine, along with their incredible team, welcomed us like family—the kind you love to be around! Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care were unmatched.

During my wife’s hospital stay, they ensured I was supported, and once she returned, they continued to accommodate us with warmth and attentiveness. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the food is plentiful and delicious. The service was faultless—nothing was ever too much trouble.

We’re now home, and my wife is making an excellent recovery. This experience will stay with us forever, and we cannot recommend Hotel Stadt Wien enough. Thank you, Klaus, Christine, and team—we hope to return under better circumstances!

We stayed a week at the wonderfull Hotel Stadt Wien in Zell am See and it was just a absolute pleasure to stay in this family oriented hotel - perfectly located for easy access to the slopes and lifts for skiing. The facilities are modern and top class and the staff is an absolute delight - making you feel like you are a part of the hotel-family with very friendly, kind, helpfull and competent staff. Besides this the food is great, with a super nice breakfast buffet with something for everyone and in the evening a superb dinner experience! In the afternoon take the opportunity to swim in their year around heated outdoor pool and enjoy the sauna and bathing area! From us 5 stars out of 5 both from the parents and the kids in the family!

We had a wonderful week at the Stadt Wien.There was a lovely warmth and atmosphere created by the caring owners and brilliant staff . The room and facilities were exemplary.The dining was excellent with a large varied selection daily .
I must thank Christine and the team for taking care of me whilst I was unwell for a couple of days, they could not have done more.
I highly recommend this hotel. Ideal for sking,hiking and other outdoor activities ,with an excellent location .
We shall definitely be visiting again.
