Your cross-country vacation in Austria

No matter if you prefer the classic or skating styles: cross-country skiing keeps you young and fit, and is tons of fun when you have the right technique.

In classic cross-country skiing, you run on prepared tracks with your cross-country skis and sticks. The tracks, called cross-country trails, function like rails in which the cross-country skier glides forward over the snow. IIn contrast to this, when you skate, like ice skating or inline skating, you skate over the snow with your skate. With skating, no prefabricated tracks are required, as with cross-country skiing, since the movement is made forwards and outwards when skating.
